OCR World Championships, Genk, Belgium
Currently can't access my photos on my phone, so here's some other photos from Belgium, Genk, OCR World Championships.
Just a quick summary:
This was my first ever 100m OCR, other than Modern Pentathlon, which is very different. This course was longer and the obstacles were smaller. I didn't manage to finish, but will definitely try again next year (in Costa Rica :))
The 3km, we had three bands, one cut every time you failed an obstacle. Most of the obstacles were upper body, more ninja style than OCR. I'm stronger in the balance and lower body obstacles, which weren't in the competition. I ended up taking it easy to reserve energy for the 100m afterwards.
So grateful to @australianwonderwoman and @choppy_sue for their care while I was in Genk.
Thanks @obstacle_australia for your support, the team was amazing!
Kayla
